I have 3 college degrees. So I've studied a lot. And I've always been an incel.

I say first off you need to develop a study method that is pleasant to you. Like put on a 25 minute timer and study with deep focus.

Remember there is a correlation between education and wealth. So if you want to increase your chances of doing well under late stage capitalism that should motivate you. And plan ahead your career. In my case I took degrees in Information technology because that's both what I enjoy and what I want to do for a living.

Now I'm a software engineer and I have a stable and comfortable career. It really was worth all that studying.

And if you want to discuss study methods I can give more tips. What's important most of all is to be active. Do exercises and stuff like that, don't just reread the material.

• Learn speed reading - very important to learn how to read long textbooks efficiently. Not every line and every word from that chapter us important. You need to skim through most of the text, and slow down only to read new material, or material you still don't quite understand.
• Look for old tests - sometimes you can find tests and exams in your university or schools website. These are a gold mine and often times teachers reuse questions in tests. If you can't find these, just Google tests on the topic you are studying.
• Study daily - it's better to study 1 hour a day every day than 8 hour the day before the test.
• Revise after class - after class, open a notebook and write down a summarized version of the topics that were covered. This seems trivial but it's been shaken that revising significantly increases your chances of remembering the material.
• Be visual - whenever possible, use graphics, images, diagrams, visual stuff to complement your studies. It's much easier to understand a node graph than to read 5 pages of text explaining that node graph.
• Use Feynman method - look it up. It's a very powerful method to truly memorize and understand the material you are studying.

I only studied cause of fear my whole life. Rather i should say, everything i have done in my life is only out of fear. Now i am too depressed to do anything. But the fear of failing the exams still is present, so i just somehow manage to stuff my brain with enough knowlege the night before the exams to not fail them. There's a tug of war going on in my head where the fear and depression are the two forces pulling the two sides of the rope. I am getting torn between them. I have alsolutely zero energy and motivation do even the basic shit. On top that being forced to studycuck makes me want to kill myself. Then i could eternally LDAR. I don't care about doing well at college at all. I just want to pass and just get the hell of this shithole. I wish i was a low inhib thug who didn't cared about anything.
