Because my life has been negatively impacted much more by my mental problems than by my ugliness. I have 0 friends and no desire to have any, I'm very anti-social and fucked in the head in various different ways. There's plenty of ugly guys at least trying, giving their best, but I'm too fucked in the head to do anything.

I think the answer would be; “Person who’s inceldom is defined by their mental problems” in other words, they may have other problems, like mild ugliness, shortness etc, but that these are negligible in comparison to their social problems.
If you where attractive the mental problems wouldn't be problems at all. Just minor flaws. I think mentacels does not really exist , just incels in denial...if you are good looking people can oversee your mental problems.

Real mentacels are very rare, because it's temporary problem, when they realize their problem is only their social skills they develop them and ascend sooner or later.
The reason mentalcels are rare is because sooner or later, all attractive men are seduced by women. They then realize this whole incel thing was only a figment of their insecure imagination, and they go on to become normies or even chads, get into a series of relationships etc.

I'm not a mentalcel personally, but I have seen other people with autism, and how certain people act on here giving clear indications of serious mental issues that definitely can't get a girlfriend because of these issues. Autism is definitely the big one.
Mentalcel can only be part of the story for most people. If a 9/10 man has social anxiety he probably still won't have any trouble getting laid. In order to be a mentalcel you generally also have to be physically unattractive along with mental issues.
If somebody looks good but has some mental problems or looks below average but is perfectly sociable they probably won't become an Incel. It requires a combination of both issues. Mentalcels might not be as uggo as truecels but you still won't see a mentalcel with Chad looks.
