Serious How do you celebrate your birthday?

This day just makes me so depressed, it reminds me that I have rotted another year and that the time left for me to achieve happiness is getting shorter and shorter..
Anyways I just ask for a cake from my mom and that's basically it..

I order my favorite pizza and hope no one calls or shows up to wish me happy birthday, i don't like the expectations that the day should be better for me than the rest - if im lucky i'll sleep through the entire day so my mind can't play tricks on me and make me feel sorry for myself. Its just another day, i get to eat pizza and thats good enough. I blame advertising

I hate my birthday! I miss being a child and still see myself as a child so knowing that I will be one year further away from my childhood is soul crushing to me. I am 24 and I miss those happy days back when I was a happy innocent child.

Anyways. On my birthday me, my brothers, sister (and usually her girlfriend, my sister is a lesbian btw) drives out to my parents house and eat dinner together and talk and have a good time and that is basically it.

my parents insist on making me apart of the family ffs, so they at least buy me a cake and present, usually have my favorite dinner too. I appreciate it but I just wanna ldar tbh
