Which country, which city, which surgeon? Male, female? Which specialty?

They're not all equal obviously... So how do you determine the one who'll fix (or make worse) your face?

I am always unable to make choices when there are too many unknown variables. Fuck it.

Anything Maxillofacial = Switzerland-Italy --sometimes germany
Eye Aesthetics= USA-Korea

I read the same shit on lookism.net but also the contrary. The truth is nobody has a fucking clue. There are horrible surgeons in Switzerland and good surgeons in Mexico. Ideally you'd need a website that rates surgeons, and not a shitty/corrupt one like "RealSelf".

The better the more they cost probably

Wrong, completely wrong. This is the exact contrary. The more the rate of a plastic surgeon, the more he cares about money rather than art. The costliest surgeons are usually the Beverly Hill hack types who specialize in Botox and breast surgery.

If you are good, why wouldn't you charge more? If they know you are good they will be more willing to pay more. But ok then.

I recommend free surgery in an alleyway.

It depends on the type of surgery you're looking for. Research doctors (preferably ones in your area) and look at their portfolio. Look for the results that you like the appearance of, and choose based on that. There isn't a better way to see the kind of work a doctor does than looking at their photos. (It's the same thing you'd do for a tattoo artist, home renovation, etc!) Also, look at the reviews. Make sure that they have a healthy, constructive environment that you'll be in.

Because not everybody is a greedy asshole like you.
Visit Eppley.
Yeah right. He's rated only 4.0/5, there is a report of malpractice, and he does too much liposuctions / botox to inspire confidence.

The more skilled you are the more money they charge applies to everything.

Nope. Real life doesn't work like that. You seem young. One day you'll understand there is almost no connection between charging a lot of money and actual skill, especially when you can get away with it.

The free market does not work correctly in most economic sectors due to asymmetrical information. The medical sector is the worst.

Also, the best workers in any domain are usually motivated by something more than money.

Ok, not everything, but it does apply to a lot of jobs, it's one of the reasons you are interview before a job, to find the most suitable candidate. Also with time come more pay, so I guess you can be less skilled than someone with less years in a career and make more.

I am greedy because I am poor.

Are you really sure that a portfolio is an accurate description of the usual work of a surgeon?

A surgeon will always put online his best results only. And the pictures are often altered with lighting and other tricks.

Use your gut instinct. And roll the dice.

There's always a risk factor involved anyway.

I'm too risk-averse to do looksmaxxing tbh.

I also hate the idea of having to pay good money to have my healthy body and face mutilated just because I live in bullshit times where women get a say on anything.
