I feel like I have a black hole within me that constantly desires someone to be with even though I'm not that old in comparison to some here.

I remember a quote said by Scott Fitzgerald upon turning 30,

How do I conquer this situation? How do you keep your self esteem up?

I just cope with music and video games. I used to get angry about wanting companionship but being around people in general has made me more introverted than anything. I just can't stand listening to people's lies and bullshit. I just think to myself, I can't solve anyone's problem but myself. I just drift along everyday with no clear vision, same shit different day. COVID hasn't changed my lifestyle at all, it's pretty much the same.

I'm in my 40s though most don't believe it. Obviously that's never helped me where it matters. I work, workout, do biz stuff, still taking classes, etc. I just do what I feel like doing for myself and try to make sure it's really something I want to do and not with any expectation of earning companionship. I'm looking into escorts but i'm going to treat it as a fairly rare thing with higher end providers if I choose to go that route. I don't really do video games and watching stuff. I like going outside and listening to music, though.
