I also wasted 2 hours on starting Max Payne 1 yesterday night, it got installed but then kept shutting down by itself on the loading screen, even tried many youtube tutorials but nothing worked.

Yeah, older games can be difficult to get to run on modern PCs, so just emulating the console ports is not a bad idea. BTW, another download you can use is this:

I also wasted 2 hours on starting Max Payne 1 yesterday night, it got installed but then kept shutting down by itself on the loading screen, even tried many youtube tutorials but nothing worked.

@supersoldier can you please share with me a working link/method for Max Payne 1 as well? I tried changing compatibility modes and it still kept shutting down at the load screen
