Keep seeing those accounts from science which say that babies can instinctively tell the difference between attractive and unattractive faces and look at attractive faces for longer, so how do babies react when seeing you? For me they just look at me for a second and then look away

If I ever make one cry with just my face though that is the day I solidify my decision rope, I'll see that as complete and utter concrete evidence that I am irredeemably subhuman

They start crying

It's been proven through many studies.

The preference this due to it being:
- More symmetrical
- More prototypical
- Easier for a baby’s brain to process

So “attractive” = visually simple and familiar to their developing brain, aka socially “good-looking.”

But then again, of course they can still stare at your face, it is just More Likely that they are staring at your due to looks.

I think that science is wrong, kids love me and always smile at me...

They look at me out of curiosity, most likely. Fortunately never made one cry yet

they either look at me curiously or smile

they either cry or look away.

they smile because im an inherently good person and because i look funny, in a bad way, i look like a very ugly baby with long hair so they're probably mocking me without even realizing it

They just stare at me curiously before getting bored. Occasionally they make weird noises at me and try to reach for me.

I can't remember the last time I looked at a baby, but this toddler toilet and her mother walked past me, as I was just sitting on a park a bench a couple of years ago, and she gave me the scrunched up face "what is that" type look. Another time, as I was walking this foid and her son passed me by, with the son being probably 6 or 7 years old, and he pointed at me and said "he's a funny looking man" and laughed, whilst the mother was trying not to laugh, herself.

Oh, and this foidlet that was playing football with other kids in a park shouted "Pedo!" at me as loud as she could, as I was just walking by, before too. I wasn't even looking at them.

Generally, I get the "what is that spooky thing" wide eyed glare from others, regardless of their gender, age, race etc.

No clue. I don’t really pay attention to babies when I’m around them.

They don't pay attention to me. But recently one toddler girl pointed at me and said "That is my dada" and the mom said "wtf are you talking about". It made me feel nice.

Sometimes they look curiously, sometimes they smile.
No baby has ever cried when looking me in the eyes.

And they better not or I will beat them up. jfl

Yeah I've had foidlets shout pedo and nonce at me too, only takes the slightest glance to trigger them too, genuinely how do you experience this shit constantly and not wanna go ER big time

They stare with a blank face or just look away

I do fantasize about it a lot, when I'm replaying bad memories like the ones I previously mentioned. I think that's normal though,. When you've been wronged, naturally you'll have power fantasies about getting your own back.

Exercise, and substances can sometimes lessen the rage and frustration, aside from that though, there's not much dealing with it. The thoughts and feelings sit there and simmer. Only when I'm asleep, am I truly at peace.

the only person to smile at me in years was a baby tbh

They usually just stop and stare.
