I watched a compilation of air crashes on YT a while ago. Was brutal. It included some mid-air collisions, some at air shows. What was surprise is how instantly they burst into flames when they hit the ground, even when they were going slow and/or trying to land.
A plane crash could be one of the absolute worst ways to die. Not only do you have the blind panic before the crash, but then you're likely burned alive (which is by far the most painful way to die).
