An old guy I used to know before he died was born in dublin and came here as a youth. He always played guitar and sang irish songs in the pubs and at the fair. He was a short wiry guy who used to be handle the barrels at the brewery when he was younger. He was also into building old school popular mechanics type stuff like radios and electric trains.

He was married once for over 50 years. He had a son and two daughters. His wife worked as a telephone operator but quit after becoming pregnant with their first child. After the children moved out she worked nonteaching jobs at the school.

Why was there so much less hypergamy?

YOU JUST KNOW

neh jk.doubt she was faithful to him though.

No internet. No social media.

My view is that before birth control pills women used to have real libido. So while all women were going for Chad, a lot of women were waiting and waiting, and well they were lonely and horny. So like a person who hasn't eaten for awhile and then lots of food starts looking and tasting delicious, all of a sudden manlets start looking good, like she sees the good qualities in him.

Today on their birth control pills that lower their libido down to next to nothing, women seem to have no problem having no boyfriend or husband and just going to bed alone every night, year after year. Only being willing to have sex if its a Chad.

Like I see so many women who for 5 years+ have had no boyfriend, and it doesn't seem to bother them.
