This guys videos range from based to schizo, but overall I enjoy his channel and Mouse Utopia is indeed a very appropriate study to represent a lot of what's happening in society today.
I also like how this guy talks about how current social norms and customs/teachings are in large part based on reactions (often overreactions) to prior cycles in history. Every society has its "sacred dogma" that cannot be questioned -- even if it's obviously wrong for anyone using their own two eyes and thinking for themselves.
The reality is you can get most people to believe almost anything if you indoctrinate young and surround them with like minded individuals. Look at any isolated cult or consider how if you grew up in some bum fuck village in africa where they believe in body mutilation / the great JuJu god under the mountain you absolutely would too. This kind of thing extends to a lot of one's own society's belief.
Today with TV/movies/games/art and the vice grip on news media/social media the top can very easily sway public perception on whatever they want given enough time. Just look at the trans/pronoun bullshit for proof of that. Anywhere normal in the world outside the west or in the west prior to 2010 you would've had people laughing in your face because of how obviously retarded that shit is -- yet here we are with places like Canada making it ILLLEGAL to "misgender" someone JFL.
Anyway, some other examples of things the current west gets wrong
:
1) Social media was fine when it was many tiny hobby focused boards with their own culture -- also back then by and large society actually did value free speech as a virtue way way way more than today. Once social media became corporitized and heavily censored and unified into a small subset of Califonria companies, it was just over. Now mainstream social media has basically ruined an entire generation of people, especially women. People say social media is to women what porn is to men and I kind of agree.
2) Prostitution being illegal doesn't make sense anymore now that values have changed -- it probably made more sense in a time of hard traditional values and pre-feminism but now it only serves to artificially prop up female SMV since men have no other route to accessing sex.
3) Feminism did not work -- flat out it has not worked. Men and women are different and on average are better suited to different kinds of tasks in a functioning society. They also have different mate preferences that the older systems understood and catered to better -- the whole goal should "how do we get men and women to pair off at a reasonably young age with their approximate value match" and you want them to have children at the replacement rate. It is a fact that college educated career women have fewer to no children so even if you get a productivity boom now immigration and subsequently decimating your own culture will happen down the road.
4) Mass immigration is retarded -- you drive up housing costs, drive down the value of labor (especially for the poor/unskilled laborers which is why it is hilarious and ironic that the American left champions mass immigration) and if you aren't filtering who you let in you'll make crime worse and destroy your high trust society. A country without borders isn't a country.
5) Online dating should be illegal -- it has made things so so so much worse, not better.

6) WWII was probably a more grey conflict than the west claims. Hitler and Nazi Germany, though yes I believe they committed evil acts, had in reality a very sympathetic rise to power. They were beat and hammered to the point where their society collapsed and their rage makes a lot of sense if you look into the conditions in Germany at that time. Also the books they burned were Tranny books and books that disgust and revolt the average person. Usually I'm not one to suppress speech or ideas, but it depends on what your opponents are doing -- if they're suppressing your speech and refuse to agree to free speech terms then yes you absolute should disallow them too because otherwise you're fighting with a hand behind your back against people that would never do the same for you.
Now, on that front I do think the Holocaust probably happened, but I also think it's not improbable that what really happened was somewhat altered/exaggerated for a very powerful propaganda piece. For example, it seems feasible that maybe they were put into work camps then towards the end of the way Germany was running out of food/resources, that kind of thing. Also nobody ever asks why the Jewish people were so despised at that time -- the modern west just assumes they did nothing at all wrong and I'm not sure I buy that. Also the invasion of Poland over Danzig may have again been a more "grey" conflict than what the west now teaches. Basically if our government WAS lying we would never know it. They already lie about other agenda libshit stuff all the time so what did they lie about in the past?
