Discussion Hobbies are too expensive

Actually there are lots of hobbies that I’m sure we are interested in. The problem is most hobbies are too expensive so you can’t even do them if you wanted to. Examples:

Photography= thousands of dollars
RC cars and drones= thousands of dollars
Firearms= thousands of dollars
PC gaming= thousands of dollars
automobiles= thousands of dollars
Boating= thousands of dollars

Yeah except then it’s not even fun and sucks ass so there is no point.

pc gaming is not expensive if you pirate and choose your PC parts wisely but yeah money is everything in this shithole clownworld

You can buy a decent gaming laptop for less than a thousand
You can buy a cheap gun but the ammo costs might pile up over time
You can start photography with a cheap camera
You can rent a boat for a day.

Various useful mini tools,

I recently got a Victorinox "waiter." For $20.
It's a Swiss 84mm single layer pocket multitool.

I had to sharpen up the combo tool to make it open cans better. But it was easy enough to do.

I recently used it - besides as a can opener - to untie some rope with the corkscrew... It was fun! And i cut sausages with the blade... Pick my tooth with the toothpick.

depends on what kind of games you want to play, and how you want to play them. you don't need to play competitive multiplayer games at 4k ultra settings.
