his name means flame.He was born of Syrian Descent and a low born slave yet he became one of the biggest names in gladiator history.Roman leaders were so impressed by his skills ,he was awarded his freedom 4 times but he refused every time out of sheer badassery.He fought 34 battles winning 21 of them and only 4 draws,after his death at age 30 he was awarded by being the first and last gladiator to ever have his face be placed on a roman coin.Some theorize the reason he rejected his freedom was because sandniggers were looked down upon by ancient romans at the time and he wanted to prove how wrong they were.
