I never understood how people think creating a copy of your consciousness is immortality, its like they don't get what "uploading" is, when you upload a file you copy it, if you uploaded your consciousness it would merely be a copy of you, your real self is still going to die, shit is great for that bootleg of you though

Correct, creating a copy is a thing, transferring a file is another one (assuming it doesn't imply the usual cut and paste).

In case of consciousness, it would be dynamically modifying the brain in real time and convert it into electronic/bionic stuff, as far as I know and can think of. Biological immortality is much more feasible than that, in comparison.

If singularity has to be fast tracked, precautions have to be taken, as it will be singularly over should femoids hijack this thing.
