Can we agree that prostitution is prohibited in the United States so that women have an even greater advantage in the sexual marketplace?

The FIRST thing the suffragates did after gaining the vote was vote en masse to ban prostitution. The wife finds it easier to control the husband if he has no easier alternatives to herself.
