I counted 29 wars in the section where an European power fought against an Indian kingdom, in a few cases it was one European power supporting one kingdom while another European supported another but I tried to exclude those. In 17 of those cases the European power one. That is 58% of the time and this is on their own home turf despite outnumbering European forces.
