People need to understand that the fact that someone even thinks to try this because "it might work" shows that this forum is in a trash state with lax rules, and nobody takes it seriously. There should be no "dynamic" rules. I like to always make comparisons to groups like Vegans and a Vegan Forum, because it shows you the clear difference between individuals that take a plight seriously and those that don't.
Example 1:
You could never go to a vegan forum and have an avatar of an animal being slaughtered or a picture of bacon, and get away with the excuse of "it's an ironic joke". You'd simply be asked to change it and if you didn't you'd be banned.
Yet on an incel forum we have users with blatant Chad and Stacey avatars, and a lot of these users are trolls and larps who are "indirectly" trolling the userbase by trying to evoke feelings of anger, depression, etc. They can get away with it because we have a lax culture that allows a loophole for bullshit like "it's an ironic joke", and that's because we don't take our own plight seriously.
Example 2:
You would never go to a vegan forum and see that they have created an entire sub-forum for the trolls, larps, and spammers to congregate (like we have "The Sewers" on this forum). They would not be creating "safe spaces" for the people who are making a mockery of "the plight of animals", and that's because they take the plight of their belief systems seriously, but we don't.
We gladly create "safe spaces" for people who make a mockery of us.
Example 3:
You would never go to a vegan forum and see some user "jokingly" saying they ate bacon yesterday, posting images of meat foods, posting images and videos of animals being abused and/or slaughtered, etc. That person if they persisted would get a few warnings and then they'd be permanently banned. But on this forum people can keep making "I'm kidding jokes" with respect to them not being an incel and it's a common thing.
@Chubacabracel probably pushed the envelope on this kind of joke and that's why he finally got banned. This is why these guys do. They see that we have shitty lax rules, so they keep pushing in bit by bit to see what they can get away with in order to "perfect their craft". Some of them are better and never get banned, some learn from their temp bans and become better, and some go too far and get banned permanently.
This place is essentially a troll training bootcamp because our rules are so lax and we don't enforce a serious forum culture.
Example 4:
You would never go to a vegan forum and see "site mechanics" that encourage trolls, larps, etc to be drawn to the site.
Seriously, WTF kind of forum did the mods expect to get when they made one's "rank" on the forum be determined by how many posts you make rather than people liking the quality of your posts? (it's the very mechanic that created and encouraged "postmaxxing").
Of course that will attract spammers. I would not be surprised if there were users using bots to post on this site while they are doing something else. The kind of lazy posting shit that is allowed on this site makes that very feasible.
I could go on and on but you get the point. Look at the vegan forum and you can see the clear difference between a group that takes itself seriously, and a group that doesn't (incels).
