It's a weird thing really.
Having your own room or house vs sharing it.
In some ways it's amazing to have your own space, but I also hate to feel cut off, you know? And also typically you live with a partner so if you "have your own space" it also can mean being very, very single!
I wrote in a previous thread about the advantages of not sharing a bed with someone else - how it gives you room and you can stretch out, etc. Not have to worry about disturbing someone else.
I think that's true too although I think it depends a lot on the size of the bed and the size of the people! And how light/heavy sleepers they are.
So... yah... devil's in the details I guess
