13 Amazing Coming of Age Traditions From Around the World
Here are thirteen of it the world’s most diverse coming of age traditions that celebrate the transition from childhood to adulthood.
In many places boys have to undergo a ritual to completion to man. They have to take a test and pass it in order to be properly recognized as an adult.
In modern countries we have no such thing formally. You turn 18 and pass high school. You're a man now right? Girls do that but they're not men now are they?
The unwritten rule is that to properly become a man, you must get a girl willingly have sex with you to complete your test and become a man.
If you don't believe me look at the way culture sees things. Everything in the media is related to sex and they keep reminding you. Men are shamed for being virgins because they're not real men. When you think about the first things foids used to insult guys that are not real men, it's the fact they are virgins and therefore so unattractive they couldn't even complete a simple requirement in the coming of age test. That's why people don't respect you for having sex with them. Hell even if you re not physically a virgin, you still haven't passed the test through proper means and are NOT a real man until you do so!
Why are we so angry? It's coz we feel incomplete. We don't feel like we have passed the test to become adults. And rightfully so seeing how society always reminds you about it. There a reason why prostitutes are always shamed. It's coz they are giving sex to those who didn't "earn" it through "proper" means.
Having sex once through proper means completely changes you. You have passed the test. Some girl actually found you attractive enough to willingly have sex with you. That validation will be with you forever. You are now a man.
Even if you were to never have sex again, your title of a man cannot be taken away from you. No one can ever call you a virgin anymore. Now do you see why it's so important? Suddenly all that fear and insecurity about failing this test is gone! You can now move forward proud and confident knowing you have passed the test and are now a REAL MAN.
And that's why people here are so angry. They still haven't passed the test after all these years. You tell them sex doesn't matter. Yeah failing the requirement to become a full adult doesn't matter huh? I guess failing high school either isn't so bad.
