So far there's hardly any difference. I just rinse my hair with cold water for at least 2 minutes. My hair's not as greasy as I thought it would be. Stress, diet & sleep hours play a factor. It takes about 2-3 weeks for the benefits to start showing though.

Going on a shampoo strike jfl.

  • Preserves Natural Oils: Shampoo can strip the scalp’s sebum, which moisturizes hair and skin. Skipping shampoo helps maintain these oils, potentially leading to softer, shinier hair over time.
  • Reduces Scalp Irritation: Shampoos often contain sulfates, parabens, or fragrances that can irritate sensitive scalps. Avoiding them may reduce itching, dryness, or dandruff for some.
  • Less Frequent Washing: Without shampoo stripping oils, hair may stay cleaner longer, reducing the need for daily washing and saving time and water.
  • Environmental Impact: No-poo cuts down on plastic bottle waste and chemical runoff, making it eco-friendly.
  • Cost Savings: Eliminating shampoo purchases saves money, especially for pricier brands.
  • Encourages Natural Hair Texture: Over time, hair may adapt to its natural state, potentially improving texture or curl patterns altered by chemical-heavy prod

Using it all the time can damage your hair anyway

I poo my hair once every 7 or 8 days

You might get bad dandruff if you do try nizoral or selsun blue shampoo occasionally

Shampoo is a scam it's full of chemicals

You can Use a egg yolk to Wash your hair

what?????
Washing your hair with egg yolk can be a DIY hair treatment that may help strengthen, moisturize, and add shine to your hair. Egg yolks are rich in vitamins and proteins that can be beneficial for hair health, and they can help break down and distribute your hair's natural oils.

How to wash your hair with egg yolk:
  1. Separate the yolk: Crack an egg and separate the yolk from the white.

  2. Whisk the yolk: Gently whisk the egg yolk in a bowl until it's slightly frothy.

  3. Apply to hair: Apply the egg yolk mixture to your scalp and hair, working it through to the ends.

  4. Massage and rinse: Massage the mixture into your scalp and hair, then rinse thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water.

  5. Shampoo and condition: You can follow up with your regular shampoo and conditioner if desired.
Tips for best results:
  • Use cool or lukewarm water:
Hot water can cook the egg, making it difficult to rinse out.

  • Add other ingredients:
Consider adding ingredients like honey, olive oil, or lemon juice to the egg yolk mixture for added benefits.

  • Be mindful of egg smell:
If you're concerned about the smell, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the mixture.

  • Don't overdo it:
Using egg yolk too frequently can lead to protein build-up, so it's best to use it as a treatment once or twice a month.

Will it help with balding?

I haven't washed my hair at all in years. Sheer laziness and apathy from depression is good like that.
