Feels pretty awesome ngl, this isn't a gay LARP either, I am actually experiencing mild hallucinations from sleep deprivation. I have been playing a lot of subnautica recently after getting the game when the hype was going full blast and playing it for a bit, then stopping. Thanks to the dark blue background of this site on classic theme I can see water, a sandy sea floor, kelp, coral and rocks. I can see the white posting box as my little in-game screen thingy, and when the save button on the drafts button in the posting menu goes green it looks like I've picked up a new item and it has the little golden button on it to show me it's a new item in my inventory. Sometimes the blue background moves, I'm moving through shallow open water making my way around big rock outcrops. The hallucination is rather faint, as sleep deprivation hallucination goes, and only really appears if I lose focus and zombie stare forward at my screen (which comes easily to me since I am tired). If I turn off my screen and the background is black I start to see bubbles, but then it fades to nothing. Right now as I am touch typing I am able to space out with my eyes and see some really neat hallucinations on the blue background if I space hard enough and don't think too hard about what I'm typing, this is neat.
Also if I look at a power tube thing on my wall for long enough and space out it goes all fuzzy, and then looks like it is a tall cylindrical object which is detached from the wall entirely. It's like one of those optical illusion thingies you find in novelty childrens' books.
