Best thriller of the past decade, hands down: watched the first entry (2015) of the series four times already this year.

  • An idealistic FBI agent (Emily Blunt) is assigned to work a dangerous stretch of the US-Mexico border by her superior officer (Josh Brolin). She's exposed to the brutality of the Mexican drug cartel, and becomes partners with a defector from the cartel (Benicio Del Toro) who possesses keen knowledge about the organization. As she gets deeper into the ruthlessness and corruption surrounding the FBI sting to find the organization's leaders, her moral and professional boundaries are pushed to their breaking point..

good film
You should move to a small town, somewhere the rule of law still exists. You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is a land of wolves now.

All his movies are good tbh. Sicario 2 is decent as well.

Sicario 2 wasn't made by Denis Villeneuve, but rather Stefano Sollima. It was decent, but the story felt messy with too many things going on that weren't properly explained.

I just remember the part where the whore tries hooking up with some chad stranger at the bar and nearly gets killed for it :lul:

It's a good movie, which inspired the excellent thriller series ZeroZeroZero created by the same man who directed Sicario 2 (Stefano Sollima)

damn this movie sounds based. going to watch later tonight :feelsautistic:

I hated this movie, everything is portrayed really badly and not even close to the actual reality of Mexico and cartel "games".

Also, why "the mexican drug cartel" when there are countless cartels operating battling each other all day to no end and with various small enforcer gangs under their rules? I don't think I will ever see a movie that will actually portray any of this the right way like it actually is in real life. I don't know why people praise this movie so much.

the toilet in it ruined it.
I couldn't watch it for more than 20 minutes

In consideration of Michael R, I'll repress my remark.

I have no desire.

Greycel of exquisite taste.
Followed. :feelsautistic:
You should also watch Prisoners, very good film by the same director.
Thank you, I actually watched it 2 times I think and it was excellent as well. Should watch it again some time soon, thanks for reminding me.

it was alright
YOU KNWO THE BIGGEST BLACKPILL IS?

FOID PRVILLEGE.

the gun man at the end, the cartel couple just happened to have 2 kids who are BOTH SONS.

why not 1 daughter 1 son? why not 2?

thast why, the gun man popularitiy would tank. coz he killed 2 girls.
he spared the maid too

Day Of Soldado is even better.
