I’m considering traveling abroad, but suns I’ve never done this before, I’m wondering about how to find cheap flight tickets, where to travel to, finding hotels, etc.?

Has anyone here traveled abroad before?

I traveled to China alone

Never travelled outside of America

I travelled to France, England, Italy all alone.

It was expensive because I bought a lot of souvenirs, ate at local restaurants and visited historical sites.

I stayed at a hotel.

That’s nice. How much did the tickets cost?

How was it? Was it expensive? Places to stay at? Etc.

I’ve really thought of traveling to China.
Not expensive, but I definitely would not recommend it. Try Taiwan instead. Hotels were only like $25 a night for a nice one in China.

I went to Cuba by myself twice. I like hanging at the beach, swimming, and smoking cigars, so it's alright for me. But resorts are maybe not the best place to go by yourself because you have to deal with the fact that you're alone, and eat at the buffet by yourself every day, and everyone else there are families or couples.

The next place I go will be Thailand. It's probably fairly common for people to travel by themselves there. Tons to do, tons of beaches, and tons of noodlewhore escorts if you're into that.

Yeah I’m thinking of Taiwan, Japan, or Vietnam, Philippines or perhaps Singapore?

How do you find not-so-expensive flight tickets?

Why would you not recommend it?

Oh nice.

How much was the ticket price? What website?

Was it expensive?

Very little english is spoken, and its a totalitarian state like you couldnt imagine. They watch everything you do every second youre there. Its a huge risk even doing nothing wrong you could be arrested.

Where are you flying from? I can help direct you.

Cuba is one of the cheapest vacation places in the world, it's like $1000-ish for a one week vacation package depending on the season and where you're flying from. The beaches are very nice, and the resorts are totally isolated and off limits for the locals.

There's vacation sites like Expedia, or Booking.com

The last time I went to Cuba the economy was really shit, so there were some things that weren't so good, like they kept running out of fruit, and there wasn't enough staff, things like that. That's the only thing that would stop me from going back right now.

Cancun Mexico is also a decent option.

Really? Even if you’re a quiet, keep-to-yourself type of person?
Where are you flying from?
I would take the Greyhound to San Diego airport to depart from there. I’m not planning anything as of now, but i am seriously looking into it.
