To me, there's something unappealing about surrendering everything to "the void".
Even if everything I do is impermanent, I still enjoy the thought I did it for its own sake. Yeah, it's highly unlikely anything I do will be remembered after I die, but even if it isn't, I do what I do more for *me* than anything else.
I know it's a literal "cope", but if I can't be physically beautiful, I still want to live beautifully, if that makes any sense. Despite being a cancer-ridden manlet goblin, I want to still have a dignity about how I live/die.
You can technically reduce anything to the point of it being irrelevant: human life included. That doesn't mean it can't have meaning.
I prefer something like the WhiteVoid pill: It's possible everything is a meaningless cope, but that doesn't necessitate we have to be miserable savages.
