Since many of the financial backers of the aborted coup where some of the richest men in the country, FDR decided to arrange a quid pro quo where they were unpunished in exchange for providing financial and political backing for FDR's New Deal in the 1930s.

Every major conspirator with the exception of Smedley Butler denied knowledge of the plot. That's partially why we still know very little of the conspiracy to this day

Social media and movement of peoples would have been heavily regulated under a fascist dictatorship, so females wouldn't be able to have the level of access with chads that they do now

I'm trying to research more in depth about the plot to make another post about this in the future, but it is hard since the plot is alleged to have been covered up in the Congressional hearing to protect many powerful financiers like J.P. Morgan, one of the richest men in the country, who, along with other wealthy backers, allegedly backed the plot with at least $300,000,000 (over 7 billion in today's money) and pledged an army of 500,000 to march on Washington D.C.
