Tried both. Was always, brutally and cruelly rejected.
They could just say: "No, I am not interested." But they have the need to humiliate.

An ugly guy approaching and asking "if she would like to eat some tacos later?" is like the ultimate insult. They foam at the mouth.

And I never attempted it in public mind you that. So their exposure, and mine, were small.
But even still the next day, everyone was knowing about it. Know why?
Because they tell everybody. Inviting everyone to humiliate and belittle you.

I have only tried irl. I never approached in high school but i tried approaching a few years after i graduated. The first girl i approached actually gave me her number. She was a 2/10 landwhale i met at work. So on this “date” I basically bought her food at 3 different places in a mall while she ignored me the whole time and afterwards she gave me the “i dont like you like that; lets be friends” speech.
