I used omegle a good bit back when I was a NEET 13-14 years ago. Needless to say I got called ugly a bunch of times, and all the women skipped me (sometimes after saying "ew" or something). I did end up making one online friend from omegle, but it was otherwise a complete waste of time.

I tried it a few times in the mid to late 2010s but it was notably worse. Same goes for the alternatives. It's all:

1) Guys jerking off
2) Women who will skip any non-chad guy
3) Guys who will skip anyone who isn't a woman
4) Children
5) Guys from india who's english is unintelligible
