I was around 16 and they were usually 1-2 years younger. The surprising thing was, later on, I found out what a couple of them looked like (as I had them on MSN, which meant I could look them up on Facebook) and they were attractive.
Texting back then was so basic and pointless, I don't even know why I bothered. You could type 50 words in a text, then you had to wait for it to send, then wait an hour for a text back, and it cost 10p per text. And no, I never came close to meeting any of them. Never even spoke on the phone to them (besides one girl, briefly). And am fully KHHHHV.
