I have spent a couple weeks in a psych ward when younger... The nurses were very nice, however the doctors didn't want to admit that my deformities were the problem. An interesting experience overall but ultimately fruitless.

Never been there and I wouldn't want to go there.
Done a stretch in Broadmoor for 7 months, luckily I got early release. Fucking scary more than anything. Met Peter Sutcliffe in there, no bullshit.

I know two guys who have been there. One is a total psycho furry and the other one is a high tier normie having a babies first depression:
His parents divorced when he was 20, he was sad and said to his friends "I'm gonna kill myself" and then they put him in there.
He said it was totally worthless, even from his normie perspective, they legit use terms as "trigger warning" and the therapists and also the patients are all so bluepilled.

I'm kind of a mental hospital tourist and visited 3 different ones .
Two for a few months and one were I did day care for a year, which mean you live in a social housing outside and you go there to spend your day like in kindergarten making drawings and clay statues.
It can help by freeing your mind of the shit that clusters it ...
Anyway mental institutions in Europe are quite good so it not that much of a torture....

I was and we had group therapies of about 20 people, I had to openly admit that I never had gf and in my 30's. Still didn't get pity fuck. Actually I met strong oneitis there, but she chose average fat guy with seizures instead.
Correction of deformities should not be considered a "cosmetic" procedure. Think of all the money that could be saved of food, drugs, running psych centers ect... if plastic surgery was subsidized or at least covered by insurance. Would St. Elliot have gone ER if he got a chin and jaw augmentation? Mental Health=Facial Health, we don't need gun control, we need compassion for those with fucked up faces...
In France, cosmetic surgery used to be offered to psychiatric patients in the post-war years, but it stopped at some point. Probably because of a cost issue. Bad calculation, because the French State lost far more than 5,000€ due to my NEETing.

See, this is what im afraid of, college has killed my sanity and raised up anxiety and depression to very high levels. and i FINALLY got a psychiatrist. I'm afraid if i reveal my suicial thoughts/thoughts of running away they will lock me up in chains or something
