When I was younger I liked reading about the history and culture of more obscure nations. I found them to be very interesting for some reason.

Why're you interested in India so much?

Japan. Not for it's culture exports but more for the rigid social hierarchy there. To me it seems like most people at least pretend to be civlilized... Same thing with India and it's caste system.

Why're you interested in India so much?

Great food, great architeture, millenar interesting history, it's has a religion only specific to that region (which makes it unique in many aspects), great landscapes, hardworking people, IIT JEE and so on

mostly Eurocentric history byzantine more than anything. Some towel head history interested me the rest of the lesser races largely during colonialism and how it pertained to Europeans. I do know some precolonial Chinese, Japanese, Mali, Songhai, Safavid, ottoman, Indian and antiquity history but it is a bit lacking tbh.
