I genuinely don't understand how the answer could be 'no', even if you live under a rock and are a complete recluse (like I was for most of my life). even chads get called ugly if they're short or broke.

eh, i don’t think it’s normal for people to call you ugly. I barely saw it in middle/high-school. If people call you ugly unprompted then it’s definitely a truecel trait.

Yes, I was a small kid and a girl called me ugly.
A girl around 12 years old called me "pig nose" and a grown woman supervising the playground basically called me ugly. She said something like "you're not so great looking yourself." A grown woman to a ~12 year old boy.

Yes, I don't think I've been called ugly to my face since around age 12.
Oh many times, especially back in high school and back when I was cold approaching in my late teens and early 20s. Also many other insults related to facial ugliness like "horse face" "you look like a caveman" "you look like a school shooter" etc.
I'm sure things are even worse these days for kids growing up since young people these days are not only especially antisocial, but they're also more aware of entry level blackpill stuff, thus making it easier for them to pick up on and articulate facial flaws. Not to mention standards are so much higher, a lot of the guys i've heard my zoomer coworkers call "ugly" were like 5/10 mtn.
