I would feel bad for my kids as they would get my shitty genes. And I doubt I would make a great father. This is not bitterness on my end, but my parents didn't do a great job. They weren't really equipped for the job to raise kids. I don't think I ever felt loved or like I was wanted. And usually this kind of thing is generational and it goes from generation to the next. My parents didn't have loving homes either. In all honesty I don't believe I could provide a loving home for a child. Likely I could provide all the physical things, like roof over their heads, clean clothes and food and whatever they need, but that's not enough.
