Has anyone watched Marc Lepine-inspired movie Polytechnique(2009)?

Watched last night and tbh it was really good, Black and white filter french movie about a mentally deranged guy who (despite being heavily based on Marc) isnt directly him as the both of them have some differences personality-wise, while i dont think the cast for mark looks like him, it gives the vibe of an everyday-guy who went on a rampage, the visual effects for the shooting were very realistic. and the inclusion of the Ruger mini 14 rifle shows they really did care to make a worthy rendition of the Polytechnique shooting, Thoughts on this?

I think the movie tried to do something similar to Elephant 2003 and portray a whole view of the shooting without being too concerned about realism or being true to the "source material", havent watched the village of doom but i know its based on Mustuo so it sounds promising.

Thats true, Marc was like 5,7 and the actor they choose for him is 6 feet.
