I'm wondering if anyone here has had any positive outcomes from therapy (or CBT). I would imagine it's useful even if just to give you someone to vent to.
 
I'm in therapy. Have been for like 3 years. Hardly any results so far far as my depression and anxiety are concerned. My agoraphobia has gotten slightly better
 
I can say therapy is a good place to vent and talk, but I never had significant results from it.

Yes and it was more or less worthless. I went for about a year and a half when I was 19. The only good to come out of it was that it was nice to talk to a real human about my problems. He couldn't solve them though.
 
Therapy is a waste of time and energy.
 
I have done it and it winds up being a waste of time and money. I tried with a few different therapists to see if there was one that even gave me a tiny amount of help or just be enjoyable to talk to and neither was forthcoming. The one problem I see with therapy is that the assumption is that the problem is completely with you when this is not the case. Anyone who denies that the problem has nothing to do with themselves is in denial but the other part, if not the majority of it has to do with the cultural shift in our society, there is no way therapy is going to help with that IMO.

if it wasn't insanely expensive in my country, I'd go for it (I used to, but it's not worth the money - if I could get a better deal, why not)

Therapists are good for stuff like general depression, but not for being incel. If you have other problems you want to deal with I think its worth it but they won't help you escape this life.
 
I had a few therapists and they were worthless. They're all normalfags and women who can't understand what you're going through. Nobody understands me. I'm mysterious, and it isn't just a phase.
 
There's no therapy for ugly.
 
I've been in therapy for my child abuse/sexual trauma and it didn't really help, I found different ways of coping and I no longer blame any of my problems on what I have gone through.
 
Nope. Skin hunger is a real phenomenon that can't be healed with therapy, unless the therapist is a female who doesn't mind you touching her.
 
I've gone to therapy for over a decade. It doesn't really help anything; it's only something to do. It's nice to get someone to agree with everything I say, even if it's only for the money.

The medicine/drugs are where some real help can come in.
