Besides "the incident," an old friend tried publicly incriminating me for being an incel, because back in 2020, we had an argument about women and how shallow/not shallow they are, and he was getting pissed off that I kept using statistics. The big kicker is that I basically knew him irl, and he knew my parents, and I lived with my parents then, and he ended up telling them. But literally within the conversation where he finalized that he was going to stop talking to me, I knew he was gonna burn a bridge with me, so before he could do anything, I privated literally fucking everything and did very good damage control on all of my incel related accounts that he knew about.
Along with that, there was never any bread crumbs or any solid pieces of evidence connecting my incel shit to my main online alias in the first place, so not only did I do good damage control, I was able to play it off and told my mom that he was just disparaging me and spreading lies about me over an argument we had. I probably would have been forced out of the house much sooner (though I moved out voluntarily a couple years ago) if I didn't have decent OPSEC when it comes to this type of thing.
There are a few IRLs who also know about my incel activities, but I have been very good friends with them for a very long time, and they sympathize with me, because they're in a similar boat anyways.
