Serious Has Anyone Ever Tried Men's Fair and Lovely To Lighten Skin?

I hear it's pretty popular in India and other dark skinned ethnic countries. Most people say it's not possible to evenly lighten skin. Wondering how many people here tried it, if so how were the results?

I haven't used that but I tried kojic acid soap and lotion a few years ago. It works and the skin lightens evenly. But its takes a few weeks to really see significant changes. And the results are not permanent. If you don't use the products every day or at least every other day, your skin will slowly but surely begin to darken again.
