For me, this one scene from Arkham asylum: serious house on serious earth did when I read it back when I was 17.

I knew someone who owned a copy of it and he let me borrow it.

In this scene, Amadeus Arkham returns home to find his wife and young daughter raped and murdered by a serial killer.

When Arkham starts looking for his daughters missing head, he finds it looking up at him from the dollhouse.
And while that Cuckoo clock goes off.

The abstract dreamlike art also really adds to the horror of this.

When I told the guy I borrowed this book from that it gave me nightmares, he told me he regretted showing it to me

when i was little i used to watch a lot of horror movies. they scared the shit out of me but that's what i liked about em. the first time i watched the exorcist i had nightmares. then i watched it again the next day.

Highschool mascot that eats people and they suffocate. this gave me nightmares as a kid for years

My friend jumpscared me with findminecraft.com as a kid and it gave me nightmares for months lol

When I first discovered the Stephen Kings IT series (the one from 1990 with Tim Curry) after watching it I couldn't sleep for a few days. I had to have all the lights on, and would just lie there too scared to close my eyes for more than a few seconds.

I remember watching The Conjuring 2 and not being able to sleep because of that movie, but nowadays I consider it a silly movie.

Did you see the 2017 version when it came out?

Not nightmares as I literally was too afraid to fall asleep after watching it.

The 1990’s version of invasion of the body snatchers.

It was a good and disturbing movie despite what its critics say and Forest Whitaker my nig was the acting MVP in later scenes.

I did yeah, it was OK, but not as good as the 1990 one
Seriously??? If you had seen it as a child you would have said it was the most disturbing thing you'd ever seen.

Not really, however I would have this villain who was always in my nightmares

He was a really jet black dog with a skinny lanky human torso and a dogs head and he had like really shocked eyes that where piercing, this dude showed up in my nightmares all the time, for a good 2 years, then he fucked off.
