Most HAPAs & Hybrids that are half-white look more like the race they are mixed with as opposed to Whites. Only exception being MENA-White hybrids in certain cases.
I like the Japanese and consider them “Honorary Whites” like Hitler did, but they are not White. They may have a more White/Caucasian like appearance in comparison to other Asiatics, but they still cluster with other Asiatics & share the same roots as them.

China also has a great history as well, almost the reverse of Europes which I find ironic: Rome collapsed which allowed for Europe to follow the path it did, whereas China stuck together despite all the internal strife & invasions whilst remaining isolated.
I have heard about this also, but Caucasian doesn't necessarily mean White in the sense of European White(which has been very similar since the Bronze Age) since then MENAs & some South & Central Asians would be White.
I think that whilst perhaps they maybe were closer to Whites, they weren't actually White & were some other sub-group of Caucasoid that is now completely hybridized.

Hapa's can pass better as White than Mulattos can but that's not saying much.
Genetically there's not much of a difference between a Chinese person & a Japanese person. The Japanese are descendent of Han settlers who breed with the Ainu & Yayoi ethnic groups thus creating the Japanese ethnicity. They also borrowed Buddhism, The style of government & the style of language from China.

He's confused about what white is. He thinks what race box you tick and what race you are accepted as socially are the same thing. That's not at all the case. Sandcels in the US know this well, we are told to check the white box, but it's made very very clear to us that we're not white.

White, in America, really means Germanic. Anglos, Germans, Swedes, Dutch, French are all Germanic and white. Irish are Celtic, not Germanic, and they are treated as lesser; they are second-class white. Mediterranean Europeans are effectively Latino. Slavs and Caucasians are second-class white.
Mixed is given the worst-case treatment. Whichever race is lower down, that's what you are. Black/Latino is black, white Latino is Latino.
