How did you get that wound, the picture is kinda grainy? I get rashes on my hands and fingers that look like a bit similar, but way more inflammation when I don't put stuff on them.
I got it from washing my hands too much tbh.
Yeah this happens to me from contact with really any types of soap or disinfectant, or from my skin being too dry. Only in certain areas though, like my elbows and hands. It's annoying as they always come back eventually.

Do you have OCD? Looks more like you didn't dry your hand well enough and the cold did the rest, happens to me too.

Just use any moisturizing cream and that will stop happening.
I started doing it to heal it. Now I will start doing it as a preventive measure.
Moisturizing cream won't heal cuts but it will stop your skin from drying out and cracking from too much washing, so absolutely do it preventatively. Although I did feel like a bad ass with bloody knuckles, it looked like I was punching people in the teeth every day.
Mine actually got to the point where typing was painful so I was happy for it to seal up.
