Same here, darkstar asked me about the UNSC, but I haven't done any research on them yet, cause I like the covenant more.


I remember back in 2008 when I played halo 3, my dream was to play as a sangheili elite major, or even minor..... or a brute chieftain

All I know is that the covenant has massive, absolutely massive assembly forges and shipyards to build those cruisers.
Halo (still in 2025) never fails to amaze me when I see a massive UNSC frigate, or a covenant cruiser flying over you at the most unexpected moments....

If you play Master Chief Collection in the custom games there are always a lot of Reach games going which allow you to play as elites.

I started playing halo when Bungie still had a contract with microsoft before they agreed that ODST or reach would be their final game before they switchen to 343, but I think Halo 2 allowed you to play as Arbiter for while, I'm not talking about that sort of stuff but playing as the actually covenant fighting the UNSC in campaign mode.
But on the other hand, I think it fucks up Halo and I think it niets to be kept in its original form

I’m not sure I haven’t heard about that.

I think it makes a lot of sense, cause Cortana is a claustrophobic setting, small hallways etc, perfect for an assassin. This rumour adds an interesting vibe to the Halo Lore and when you play cortana itself.
The idea of you walking through those claustrophobic tiny hallways and 'maze' while a highly trained Sangheili Elite Assasin is out there looking for you, creepy...
