I remember I tried to hairmax at school but it looked completely unnatural/high maintenance.
I used to wash my hair and put a lot of gel and after some hours it looked very hard...like I was wearing a wig.
Also I did that on longish hair and it looked even more cringe, also I was afraid of rain because it could make me even more weird.

Depends on how good the face is. There’s Meeks, Jason Statham, The Rock, Freddie Ljungberg who all look good despite being bald. You need to be very dimorphic (DOM face) and tall enough for it to work

Hair gel is a fucking teenage meme, I don't even understand why hairgel was invented in the first place, since tradictionnal alternatives worked very well for our grandpas, maintaining hair better and looking better. In the 2000's ppl were somehow fond of the "shiny plastic" aspect of gel, but the trend is over now ... I now only use paste, not only because it is cheaper and sometimes made of natural ingredients, but also because hair is better maintained (I spent all my teenagehood thinking my hair were a desperate cause because of the shitty gel meme, while the actual problem is industrial gel is probably the most suboptimal solution for hair) throughout the day. Also, do not give a shit about ridiculous numbers they put on gel products to pretend it's "strong", it's bullshit marketing, and even a level 10 gel wont last a day while a random paste could keep your hair still an entire week.
The most bizarre thing is that gel is uncomforable and somehow make your fingers feeling like they're covered in glue, while paste will just feel like a dried cream. But while gel wil only glue your fingers together, paste is really efficient on hair (instead of your fingers) which is the goal, after all. Again, the feel on your fingers is bs marketing, don't make it fool you.
