so i have an older sister, she is 27 and she is a doctor. she recently moved to wolverhampton for her job and she came to visit me in birmingham yesterday and we had lunch. she was a very conservative christian so i was not at all expecting to have an argument with her regarding lgbtq. she asked me about how much of my class is gay and i was like no fucking idea i dont hang out with anyone from my class let alone them and she instantly started fuming about how i am homophobic. i was like dude chill firstly i dont have a problem id be nice to anyone who is nice to me and besides weren't you the one constantly spewing more homophobic shit than I all through your teenage years. like i was a chronically online teen saying some weird shit on the internet, she did that irl, constantly spoke about the sin aspect of it, and said more vile things about gays IRL than i've ever seen online.
AND NOW SHE HAS THE GALL TO STAND UP ON A MORAL HIGH GROUND JUST BECAUSE I MADE A PASSING COMMENT ABOUT NOT BEING FRIENDS WITH GAY PEOPLE. I also didnt outright say i dont wanna be friends with gay people, i have no friends in my class period and she sort of twisted my words.
To be fair, she has been a bit odd since moving out to her first job in manchester like we speak once every three or four months when she decides to call me, i frankly never make an effort. She was supposed to get arranged married last year but she has been putting it off ngl citing not having job security but liek growing up her entire identity was about getting married idk whats gotten into her lately. but like im not even fuming at the argument i am genuinely laughing at her hypocrisy as in my head even tho im a freaking incel i am not pretending to be anything while i am sure she is probably feining gay allyship to hide her inner homophobic tendencies
