Should I start drinking that crap?
I use rice protein. Can't use whey. If you don't get enough protein or its hard for you then sure why not. You don't need it if you eat the correct foods but its easier for me to take one protein shake after a meal

You only really need them if you have more muscle to sustain, or are on roids and need the extra protein to help grow faster imho. Otherwise eat your favourite meat/fish as your main meal, throw in some eggs and milk in your diet and you're good!
every once in a while i'll drink one but i don't think there as great as all the gym nuts make them out to be.

main thing to do is try and make it to your taste get it in any whey (get the pun) you can.
my trick for me is adding protein powder to greek yoghurt mixing it up then adding peach or mango barley juice tastes lush like a fruit yoghurt with huge amounts of protein, i eat these throughout the day when im home, can get a lot of scoops in before it becomes too thick can add 100 grams of protein to yuor diet like this.
I simply make one big cup every day 200-300 grams greek yoghurt, 3 scoops protein powder, barley juice, have for dessert for 2-3 meals a day, the whole big cup will have at least 90 grams protein, 25grams a scoop, 12-15 greek yoghurt I know 1/3rd of this is at least 30 grams protein.
I now dont really think about protein do i have enough bro protein this protein that, jeeeeeez make one of these a day and eat highish protein you will get over 200 grams protein a day, maybe 250 to be honest.
