I've noticed that, when I was in reception (first year of primary school in the UK) the year 6's (last year of primary school) looked around 15-16, and when I was in my last year of secondary school the year 7's looked as if they were 7-8.

i saw my brother's 9th grade yearbook 2002-03 and the 11th and 12th graders looked completely grown up. some of the guys looked like they're in their late 20s
