Of course not. For the past 15 years there's been aggressive messaging targeted towards men saying that cold approaching is "street harassment". For years women have constantly complained on social media about how they felt "harassed" "unsafe" "threatened" etc. when men approached them.
Not only that, but cold approaching is a lot more risky in 2025. A woman could snap a pic of you, upload it to social media, and ruin your life. Hell, there are lots of women who record themselves at the gym, and if a man so much as glances at him and is in the view of the camera, they'll upload it to tik tok, get millions of views, and supportive comments from women talking about how awful men are.
Combine that with the fact that young people are more segregated by gender, and are a lot more introverted and closed off...of course men aren't approaching like they used to back in my day.
Not to mention most couples meet online and this is pretty well known at this point. Very few couples even meet through friends anymore. Anyone saying "online dating isn't real life, so outside and meet people" is either:
A) saying it in bad faith because they're arguing with an incel (or someone they think is an incel) and they can't refute the evidence and statistics the incel is bringing to the argument.
B) A scammer redpill "guru"
C) A sheltered autist
or
D) a clueless boomer
