They probably had other issues but he decided to monetize his breakup as best as he could. And just look at his regular youtube views vs his latest breakup video. I wouldn't exactly call a low tier gaming youtuber/streamer a public figure. And he's getting mainstream media attention so it worked.

The title to this thread is a little misleading (on purpose). His career is Call of Duty, so he basically, he dumped his girlfriend in order to focus on his career. He understood that he couldn't give her the attention she needed/demanded, while at the same time focusing on his career.
