Watching the last part when she asks him to the bar made me ponder how different people can have different outcomes from the same events just because of genetics. Imagine a guy who is shy, he gets told to just go out and talk to women, and he does. he goes up to a group of women and uses some half thought out excuse to talk to them. What happens next is up to looks, if he is ethnic and short, he be will be the creep who they couldn't get away from quick enough, this man goes home with a higher than before inhibition and with the weight of rejection on his shoulders, now the other man who is tall, white, with blue eyes gets asked to hang out, he is shown kindness and desire, the woman tells her friends about him, he goes home, phone number in pocket and optimistic of his prospects, and in the coming years will tell a friend who is in the same situation he was once in, shy, nervous to talk to women, to just be himself.
