There is great influx of these "Coaches" in the west and young adults going to these people. It goes hand in hand with the societal interest in therapy models. One by one, these enlightened coaches without any diploma are turning the men upside down. I see this trend primarily among men, but increasingly among women as well. It's a bulimic rehash of teachings from the Upanishads and Vedic thinkers, wrapped in a cloak of self-optimization, ready-packaged and served up in a lucrative capitalist sales model. On the one hand, this trend reveals a deeply confused demographic of young people, confused with themselves, gender roles, the world itself, and the lack of theological support - but at the same time, it reveals a fixation on themselves. Which is hardly surprising in the age of social media where narcissistic behaviour is the key component of these apps. Behind the mantra of this radical self-optimization in all aspects of life lies this obsession with oneself. It must be truly difficult to no longer know what makes a man or a woman. Wokeism has really messed up people's value systems.
