Many years back a neighbor was wanting to "borrow a gun" to deal with things killing his chickens.

Governments hate guns, because it truly does give a lot of power in the hands of the citizen. For that reason alone, more citizens worldwide should be able to have guns.
It truly is the great equalizer.
Society should be high trust. Whether you have guns or not becomes irrelevant then. The underlying problems have to be dealt with.

The government having guns is the only real argument for the 2nd amendment, which at it's core is simply a safety system to keep violent criminals (genuinely violent not just muh rape, which if done only against foids isn't even a real crime or wrongdoing at all, at least not as severe as the subhuman normies believe it to be) and authority figures from going full tyrannical and bloodthirsty, outside of this, guns are completely uneccessary outside of maybe hunting and are a detriment, especially since they empower foids, foids shouldn't even have the ability to speak or keep their frontal lobe, much less have a gun, but besides that, I can see a lot of merit to the idea of a second amendment.
