It was a male, but you know how anime at times gives things "ambiguous" looks & i've noticed even in stuff like LOTR elves seem to by default have a slightly more "feminine" appearance

I mean you are like 4-5 years older than me so that's enough of a gap for some media to have been "irrelevant"
