Of all the people I encounter in public, zoomers are the absolute worst. Especially in groups. They're loud, annoying and are usually the ones to pick on me for being a subhuman male. They'd usually heckle me with random insults or simply snicker at me as I walk past them.
They don't actually do anything in the stores besides walk around the aisles together and laugh at the dumb shit they say and do. They rarely buy anything, which baffles me as to why they're even there in the first place. Why go to a grocery store if you're not going to buy anything? It's not like a clothes store or an electronics store where you can interact with the merchandise being sold and casually window shop. Occasionally you'll see them buying sweets or chips, and that's all they get.
I usually encounter them on late afternoon/early evening grocery store runs, when school has let out for the day. Fridays are the worst, as they don't have school the next day and can generally be out as long as they want. I make it a point to not do any shopping on Fridays for this reason and due to the busier traffic anyway.
The best times to be at the stores would be in the mornings, during the week. Most of the people shopping are mostly old people or stay-at-home moms going about. Not to say that I haven't received my fair share of mockery and death glares from old farts, but the number of times this happens is less compared to that of zoomers.
